The Struggle & Suffering Is Real....

As a society there is this type of "virtual quarantine" when it comes to mental health dysfunctions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD or even just lack of self confidence & self worth. 

Those who are suffering are stigmatised not so much by what is done to the person, but by what is not done or said.

You are ignored & left alone to "get over it". To get back to living when you have “pulled yourself together”.

This isolation creates a degree of personal blame for causing a problem or for being a burden to others. It becomes shameful to talk about  "IT" at home or to chat about  "IT"  at work. You struggle, You become even more lonely, You feel even more isolated.

"IT"  become's your identity & you simply feel broken. 

You feel there is a certain level of personal responsibility for finding a solution to this perceived "burden" you are placing on others. You feel you must understand where these feeling are coming from. To understand ourself why we feel anxious or have become depressed. So that you make it less awkward for others. It can be exhausting & frustrations, with the only solution being to "numb" the feels with prescriptions medication or being told to simply relax... Sigh!

The truth is mental wellness is extremely multi-faceted. On an individual basis it is connected to:


- Gut health,
- Neurological & Biochemical Imbalances,
- Past trauma,
- Sleep issues,
- Environmental toxins,
- Dehydration,
- Lack of social support.

To overcome anxiety you must find balance in aspects of the Wellness - Physical, Mental & Emotional.

"Resilience" is a 8 Week Group program designed to educate you on holistic & science based tools so you have a greater understanding of the root cause of anxiety, depression & self limiting believes.

You will be given the space, support & guidance to overcome self limiting beliefs, leg go of toxic thoughts, relationships & patterns, so that you can show up in the world confidently as you - with more peace, joy & resilience.

What It Means To Be Resilient?

The dictionary definition of resilience is "the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness".


For me Resilience is the characteristic that is developed over time. It is an uncanny ability to adapt well or bounce back quick when physical, mental or emotional trauma, adversity, setbacks, disappointments or threats arise.

To overcome the daily challenges that life puts in our way. 
  
To speak up for ourselves & make ourselves a priority, when in the past we wouldn’t.

To make the seemingly impossible, possible. Even when the impossible seems like small & insignificant things to others…

To overcome mental health dysfunctions, such as anxiety & depression to find, peace, joy, & self confidence in life, one must be resilient - physically, mentally & emotionally.

Whats The "Resilience" Group Coaching Program Involves?

"Resilience" is a 8 weeks group coaching program designed to educate you on holistic & science based tools so you have a greater understanding of the root cause of anxiety & depressions.

Week 2: Intuitive Nutrition: Nutrition to Reduce the Feelings of Anxiety & Depression.

Week 5: Understanding Trauma: Change Our Perception & Removing the Emotional Charge Past Events Have On Us.

Week 3: Emotional & Breath Regulation: Identify Triggers, Increase Resilience to Stress & Finding Inner Peace.

Week 4: The Gut-Brain Connection: Optimising Gut Health For Optimal Mental Wellbeing.

About Your Naturopathic Wellness Coach.

Ryan is a qualified naturopath and rebirthing breathwork facilitator, who works to empower and educate clients to treat the unique root cause of their stress, fatigue, anxiety and digestive issues. 

For most of my adult life I struggled with my mental health. Feelings of anxiety, depression, self sabotage, imposter syndrome & feeling of not being good enough.

The first major episode I had was when he was 21. After a heavy weekend of drinking, I had my first panic attack. I still remember’s the feeling of lying on the floor shaking, crying, feeling detached from my body & feeling like I was broken!

I had no ideal what was going on. So I did what anyone would do ”googled” it.……. the search came up “DEPRESSION”

The thoughts started racing as my mind spun out off control…NO WAAY! Not me! WHY ME!!.  What have I done to deserve this!.. Like it was a prison sentence.... I felt numb!

I was just about to book a free session with a counsellor when this overwhelming feeling came over me & something screamed:

 "this isn't you, your thoughts, you feels, your life is creating this".

At that moment it opened a door to change & I made the powerful decision that "depression" wouldn't be my label, that I would make the changes needed to overcome my own thoughts & master my reality.

This was the start of my spiritual journey, or my own 'personal legend'.

 A journey that I chose to do on my own, I told no one of this day, because I saw it as a weakness and taboo to talk about. Which only made the journey even harder, but maybe that was the way it was meant to be.

Instead I found boxing. This was one way I could slow down the disruptive habits I had without telling my friend what was truly going on! It also gave me a lot of purpose, I cleaned up my diet & started to exercise which made me feel good. I started a simple meditation practice & started to ask a few deeper questions about life & what i truly wanted from it. This was 8 years ago!

Now overcoming the "label", wasn't just as easy as a powerful decision, it has taken years of personal development, learning a number meditation practices, dealing with the past trauma, acceptance of depression as an emotion, herbal supplements, exercise, eating right, communication with my supportive partner how I feel & having a solid "daily" emotional welling plan/practices that keeps my cup filled & considers my whole self! Mind- body-spirit!

Mental Health Issues, are something that we as a society don't talk about enough, and that NEEDS to be normalised. This is some that that i am here to do. While supporting people like you through the same process of prioritising mental & emotional wellbeing too find, peace, joy, resilience & self confidence in life!
